Bar Moms

All of us moms need a break. To go out from time to time with our girlfriends, dance a bit, have some wine.
I am not dogging mothers who go out for a break once in awhile, not at all! I love going out and dancing with my girlfriends, I really hardly ever get a chance to, my girlfriends are moms and we can hardly ever coordinate a night out together, and when we can, there is no money in the budget!

I have worked as a bartender for quite a while. You see some crazy things. It's a lot like being an adult babysitter.

You have your regulars, who you grow fond of, especially when they are the ones paying your bills, you really don't mind the adult daycare you work for.
But I get shocked at the amount of women who frequent the bar quite a lot, stay all night and get plastered who have young kids at home.  I am not talking I see them once a month, or once a week, I am talking about several times a week, hooking up with different men all the time, and out until the bar closes.
Where are these women's kids? With their grandparents?  How do they even function in the morning getting shit-faced until two am?

These moms do not seem like bad people, but why did you even have children if your going to be out all night, slutting it up several times a week with different men?  What are you teaching your children? How can you even get up and teach them anything in the morning being hung over several times a week.

I am really not the judgemental type.  I am not perfect, no one is.  I just find it shocking that there are parents out there who would rather act like they are pledging a sorority/fraternity most of the week than parent.
It makes me wonder if they even are parenting, because most of the moms I know are too tired to shave their legs, never mind party all week.

I think it's sad, really.  Some of those poor kids must be neglected.  Another example of why parenting should be a privilege, not a right.
